There was no beer, then there was mulled wine. Beer would have been better, but we had no choice.

Super delicious food and great service.

Friendly staff... Mostly crowded area by tourists. I only stayed for a cappuccino because there were no other guests outside.

Unfortunately waited a long time. After waiting almost 20 minutes for drinks, we didn't order any more food. Mulled wine was delicious and recommendable, the atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy.

Just ate here and had a lot of fun with the waiter Rudi, who entertained the whole place with his Berlin snout and his BVB mask and was still able to tell his guests very decisively how the corona rules should be observed. The food (lamb steaks with goat cheese and cranberries on rocket salad) was also terrific and the view of the waterfall was wonderful. For me it is certain that the next time I am in Lüneburg, I will be here again!

Very nice service, fast service and really very good cuisine. In addition, a very good location directly on the Stintmarkt with a view of the old department store and the old crane.

Schnitzel was unfortunately not great. Simple frozen schnitzel at inflated prices. The staff is very friendly and the location is nice. Inside the restaurant is not very cozy.

A great located restaurant, right on the Ilmenau. Definitely try the Heidschnuckenbraten, absolutely delicious 😋 fast and super friendly service.

Worst meal of my life! I had a vegetable pan that consisted of cheap frozen vegetables and canned tomato sauce ..... The service was nice, but I wasn't even asked if everything was okay - no wonder with the food. My neighbor had schnitzel and unfortunately it wasn't good either.

Very bad experience. Waitresses overwhelmed. People arriving, badly received, we wait, a customer who walks past us who sits at our table, we are made to wait for a table that will become available and we are finally told that there is no more space without offering to wait. Service to flee.

Super nice staff and a cozy place where you can always get really good food, no matter what category you choose. This "little one" is worth a visit. For me 10 stars.

Very tasty salad with goat cheese and pear and great toasted bread. Nice location, you sit very comfortably. My girlfriend and I only thought that the salad had a little too much dressing, that would be a little suggestion for improvement. Otherwise I would love to come back.

Great location near the historical river harbor, outside terrace with beautiful views. Very kind staff. Delicious meal - especially fish soup with shrimps, and buckwheat pancakes with salmon.

The food was delicious and you can't beat the location! We had a very large group and we were accomodated without any trouble.

A good place to stop for lunch while discovering this beautiful city. Cosy inside, very nice outside terrace. The staff is very welcoming and at your disposal. Food is local and typical, good quality. The place is kids and babies friendly. You can find a baby change table in the men toilets and even some baby diapers if you need some.

Very nice little eatery at the old harbor in Lüneburg. The dining room inside is very clearly laid out but has a rustic, cozy feel. But the outside area is absolutely convincing, here a large number of tables, chairs and umbrellas are placed so that you can look great from everywhere. The food was very, very tasty, there was a small starter salad and traditional herring. The portion was well presented and just the right amount for a really hungry stomach. So far I would want to give 5 * stars ... if it weren't for the things that bothered me as a guest! The toilets (gentlemen) were not so great. The way there was badly signposted, led past the kitchen with a clear view into it. The toilet was very, very narrow and already overcrowded with two people! (-1*) Furthermore, the restaurant is not barrier-free or pram friendly. To get into the restaurant you have to climb a staircase with five large concrete steps. The seating in the outside area is abundant, but placed so close that hiring a stroller or wheelchair is very difficult. Also for this -1 *

We ended up here by accident and I cannot fault my experience at all. The menu had a large range of local and seasonal dishes to offer. The staff were very helpful and attentive, which was a godsend as we were out unusually late with a 3-year-old and the extra care and attention to him (which we did not have to ask for) made him very happy and probably prevented a meltdown. The vibe was really relaxed with diners fully enjoying themselves, conversing between tables, etc. I really enjoyed the fish soup. Beautiful location right on the water.

Very slow service. The waiter didn't care about us and when we finally caught his eye he literally made a scene that he's alone to service all these people during Saturday lunchtime. Food was okay.

This little restaurant on the small river in Lüneburg specializes in local and seasonal dishes. This is a great place to try traditional North German cuisine, which is quite distinctive. The chef came out and talked with the regulars, and with visitors.
